History
Foam rollers have been around for well over 10 years. They were traditionally cylindrical tubes made completely of basic foam. However, the problem is that they would break down quickly and lose their shape. To be most effective and functional, the roller needs to roll smoothly but when it breaks down the shape becomes more oval and rolls poorly.
New rollers have been developed with better durability. However, for greater durability, the density of the rollers has been increased making them much harder and more aggressive. Further, the surface of most of these rollers is still smooth which limits the grab on the body and the floor where the roller slides out while rolling.
The Release Roller™ foam roller was created to meet the demands of an ever growing population of people rolling and fill a void in the industry. Its development was based on the poorer quality and/or aggressive properties of products on the market to address the issues of these previous foam rollers.
The Release Roller™ was strategically designed for
durability, grip, and roll-ability (i.e. smooth rolling) with an
eco-friendly twist.
The plastic tube provides the durability, the specialized foam provides cushion to lessen the aggressiveness and provide grab to minimize the slippage, the high performance, non-toxic adhesive and reinforced seam to keep the roller intact.
