Why the foam?

The foam used in the Release Roller™ is eco-friendly, yet very durable.

The foam is soft and compressible for comfort and avoids the hardness of the tube which is necessary to provide the durability.

The foam provides a non-stick grip. Other gym, yoga and Pilates mats will provide a stick to the surfaces it contacts.

However, when rolling, it is best for the product to roll as smoothly as possible without sliding. The non-stick grip of the Release Roller provides this optimal effect.

The foam is also water resistant and easy to clean.

Why the tape?

The tape is used to reinforce the seam and maximize durability. Similar products on the market have had challenges with the seam staying intact and adhesives keeping the product together.

The tape allows Release Roller to utilize the specialized eco-friendly foam that is unavailable as a tube, avoids the use of harmful material required to seam the foam and prevents a seam closing material from affecting the smooth round contour of the roller

What is the best approach to learning how to roll?

The best approach for learning how to roll is the Roll Release™ Foam Roller System.

This educational program was developed to teach all individuals rolling theory, proper rolling technique and cautionary measures when rolling.

The program is comprehensive and strategically designed for safe, effective foam roller muscle release exercises.

Which foam thickness is best?

In general, it is best to purchase the 10mm foam roller as the rolling can be made easier with body position and technique where the 15mm foam roller can not be made firmer and more aggressive.

How durable is the Release Roller?

The high-performance foam and tube utilized in the construction of the roller make the Release Roller 10 times more durable than the traditional foam roller.

What happens if the foam is deformed?

The specialized foam offers excellent resilience and rebound to deformation. If the foam is deformed, it should return to its normal shape within a few days.

Does the foam break down?

The foam will develop wear over time and progressively works in the foam creating greater firmness over time to match the tolerance and skill of the person rolling.

Why Roll?

There are two general reasons to roll: muscle pain and muscle tightness.

The Release Roller is an excellent tool for addressing muscle pain. Depending on the injury, by releasing the problem muscles and the associated muscle tightness with the roller, the pain can be managed or resolved completely.

The Release Roller™ tagline, Balance • Stability • Performance, clearly describes the benefits of why we roll.
